These laws are designed to protect users from data leaks or the misuse of personal data. We are now required to inform visitors of all computer processes that are performed and the data that is collected.
SÉBASTIENNE JEWELRY and some of our service providers have customer data. This data is necessary for us to offer you the best possible experience on our website, and guarantee the smooth running of your order.
Our website and our database is hosted by Shopify, in a datacenter in USA. We store customer account and billing information. We retain this data by default (6 years maximum) to find your order history, but they will be deleted if you request it.
SALE OF PERSONAL DATA
We do not give, rent, trade, or sell any data. All the data we collect is for the personal and strict use of SÉBASTIENNE JEWELRY.
Passwords are “encrypted” and it is impossible for us or a third party to decrypt them. Your passwords are safe. In case of a forgotten or lost password we can simply regenerate a new one that you can modify later.
CREDIT CARD NUMBER
Credit card payments are provided by our partner STRIPE and PAYPAL. Payments comply with PCI-DSS security rules. At no time, SÉBASTIENNE JEWELRY is in possession or stores your bank details on our servers.
PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
When creating an account on our website, we register in our systems the necessary information for your identification, namely your name and surname, your login, and your email. The creation of an account will allow you to manage your data, your future orders and your wishlist.
To place an order requires an account creation and new information, namely your mailing address and your telephone number in order to prepare and deliver your packages. The order data is transmitted to our carrier who ensures its delivery.
The latter has the right to use this data only for the good delivery of your order, and will have to delete this data later.
If you decide to contact us via our contact form, we ask to enter your last name and email address. This data is necessary for us to answer your request.
For companies that wish to contact us via our contact form dedicated to wholesale, we will ask you several pieces of information such as your name and surname, the name of your company, an email, your phone number, and your address. This information is necessary for us to verify your identity, and to contact you. Subsequently, to allow a thorough check, we may also ask you to send us a Siret number or professional license, and a VAT number.
If you have subscribed to our newsletter by giving your consent, your email address will be used to send you our newsletter. To stop receiving these emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link “unsubscribe” located in the newsletter. It is effective immediately.
We create our newsletters with a RGPD compliant solution, whose data is stored in France, Belgium or Ireland, with maximum security on data storage.
We use statistical tools and software to continually improve ourselves. Most of these tools are hosted in France or in Europe but some have an activity in the United States. As a result, all this data are anonymized.
We record your visits to show you advertising when you browse other websites. This process is possible thanks to cookies. It does not require any personal data, and neither the advertising network nor the third sites displaying the advertisements have access to your contact information.
