We make differentiated collections. As a result, some models are reserved for our professional piercers customers, and are not available on our online site for individual customers. Nonetheless, these pieces are made in our workshop in exactly the same way.

Unfortunately not! Our studs are sold to professional percers customers in two parts: we only sell the upper part, not the labret or barbell. So they can choose the closure system that suits them best. Contact the stockist from whom you bought the stud to ask about the closure system, or send us a photo at contact@sebastiennejewelry.com.

Body fluids can tend to redden/blacken gold. It's the copper and silver in the alloy that react. Moisture, perspiration, corrosive products and body fluids such as lymph all contribute to this tarnishing. If you observe it, it's totally harmless surface corrosion! You can clean your jewelry with toothpaste and a soft-bristled toothbrush to restore its original color.

We only use 750/1000 (more commonly known as 18k) recycled gold for our jewelry, the best possible gold quality for this type of jewelry. Our 3 variations of gold are hypoallergenic, nickel and cadmium free.

18k gold means that jewelry contains 18 parts pure gold and six parts alloys. 24k gold is the purest form of gold, which contains no additional alloys. We don’t use 24k gold in jewelry because it is too soft for everyday wear, that is why 18k gold is the best possible gold quality for body jewelry. Alloys and their quantity depend on the color of the gold: silver, copper or palladium.

Recycled gold come from the recasting of vintage pieces, broken jewelry and workshop residues. This refining is carried out by professional French companies; we don't do it ourselves.

Allergy to gold is extremely rare, allergies are often due to alloys, that is why 18k is the best possible solution to avoid any risk of allergy. If in doubt, consult your doctor.

We only use natural stones for our jewelry. Our stones and diamonds are certified from the Kimberley Process (Amnesty International).

No, all the stones of our jewelry are genuine. We can do this exceptionally for a bespoke order. In this case contact us with our custom-made form.

We work with natural stones which may vary slightly in colour from the stone shown in picture.

This can happen with some stones. Substances that come into contact with it (water, soaps, sebum, etc.), sun, etc, can oxidize and the stone.

We do not accept any transformation or modification of a piece of jewelry that is not jewelry purchased from us.

Since we don't have our own foundry, we can't do that. Also, we have to guarantee the gold we bring the foundry we work with: this requires control, refining and treatment of the gold by a professional refiner.

Yes, each of our jewelry comes with a certificate of authenticity.

There are two mandatory hallmarks in France for gold jewelry: the warranty mark and the maker’s mark. The first one is affixed by the warranty service of the customs office, but only concerns gold jewelry weighing more than 3 grams, so we are normally not subject to it. The second is unique for each brand / craftsman, and must be affixed to each creation. However, we do not have the place to affix this mark on our body jewelry without distorting them or creating roughness. This is why we have requested an exemption. However, we deliver with each of our body jewelry a certificate of authenticity attesting that our jewelry is in 18k gold.
